Q: Add more songs!
A: No. I'm broke and already being bled dry by hosting costs. There is a donation
goal and that's the only way I'll add more songs. Because I'm broke. In case you missed it, I'm
broke.
Q: Add [insert joke feature here]
A: No. I already have more than enough joke features, and I don't want the site
to just become another annoying low-effort shitpost.
Q: Anything about the accuracy bar
A: You can turn it off in the settings. There. Happy now?
Q: Change the ranking algorithm! It's taking too long!
A: You don't have to finish 100% of the ranker. I specifically chose the ELO
algorithm so you can just do a couple hundred or so comparisons and be done with it. This is
supposed to help you make a sorted list, not just find your favorites. It is not a knockout
style competition, it is an infinite comparison system, and the more you use it, the more
accurate it gets. Just do as many comparisons as you want and get a good enough result.
P.S. The top 10-ish of the list (which is what most people are here for anyways) stabilizes way
quicker than the rest of the list. You might have a pretty accurate top 10 within a couple
hundred votes, even if the bar says 20%, because the site is more likely to choose songs in your
top 10. The remaining thousands of comparisons are for the maniacs who care about the difference
between #423 and #424.
Q: Can you make it so you can rank only boss songs / area themes / whatever?
A: Do it yourself. There's been custom playlists for a while now. Click the +
button next to the filter dropdown.
Q: Is there [feature that already exists]?
A: Please check the settings menu before making a suggestion to make sure that
your feature is actually new and not something that already exists. I'm begging you.
Q: Why is a lyrical version of a song playing?
A: That's the Felfeb update. There's a 1 in 10 chance of playing a fanmade song
instead of the original. This is a feature you can turn off in the settings. Also: I AM NOT
FELFEB. I did not make the lyrical parodies. I merely got permission to use songs from the
all-holy Feb. He's also not in the server.
Q: Add a skip button!
A: There's literally a skip button right between the two choice buttons. It's
been there. Please look at the screen.
